Committee backs donation of retired ambulance to City College EMS program

Mark Corso of the Fire Department said the vehicle has reached the end of its useful operational life for emergency responses but remains valuable for instructional purposes. "This donation would help strengthen our relationship with City College, and we'd be able to reuse surplus equipment for educational purposes," Corso said.
The committee moved the item to the full Board with a positive recommendation (3–0).
The action is intended to support vocational training and reutilize city equipment for workforce development.
