The committee considered a resolution authorizing the mayor or her designee to cast an affirmative assessment ballot for the proposed renewal of the Noe Valley Community Benefit District. Chris Korgas, senior program manager at the Office of Economic and Workforce Development, told the committee that elections materials will be mailed Dec. 13 and that two ballots will be mailed to the City and County of San Francisco for the renewal covering two parcels under Board jurisdiction.
Korgas said the city's combined assessment obligation for the two parcels is $5,561.59, representing roughly 2.257% of the CBD's total assessment budget. Chair Marr invited public comment and, seeing none, closed the public comment period. The committee sent the item to the full Board with a positive recommendation without objection.
Next steps: The item will appear on the Board of Supervisors agenda on Dec. 17 unless otherwise stated; the City may cast the affirmative ballots if the Board upholds the committee recommendation.
