- Item 2 (Ladies Protection and Relief Society landmark designation, 3400 Laguna Street): Motion to forward as a committee report passed. Vote: 3 ayes.
- Item 3 (Planning Code: laboratory definition / biotechnology — UMU prohibition): Committee voted to forward the ordinance to the Board with recommendation. Vote: 2 ayes (Preston, Peskin), 1 no (Melgar). Note: Planning Commission recommended disapproval on Aug. 1.
- Item 4 (Portal project MOU / Transbay Phase 2): Committee recommended the multiagency MOU for final Board approval. Vote: 3 ayes.
