Madison Tam, representing the sponsor, told the committee that ongoing discussions made a continuance prudent. Chair Mirna Melgar moved to continue the item to Dec. 2; the committee voted 3–0 to grant the continuance.
The ordinance would establish a special-use district for the area generally bounded by Fell Street, Market Street, and Van Ness Avenue, update the zoning map, and make findings under Planning Code section 302. No members of the public spoke during the item’s public-comment period.
