He said night‑work permitting and pre‑application consultation reviews will be codified as fee‑recoverable activities in the proposed ordinance.
Supervisors thanked DPW for the enhancements and pressed for district‑level allocations (neighborhood beautification, merchant corridor cleanings) to ensure equity. Nuru said enhanced residential cleaning and block sweeping partnerships will stabilize crews and better target repeat hot spots. The committee voted to forward Item 4 (the DPW ordinance) to the July 14 full board meeting without objection.
