The Government Audit & Oversight Committee moved into closed session on June 21 to consider litigation and settlement matters with the City Attorney concerning items 1 through 8 on the agenda, which the clerk described as various ordinances and resolutions authorizing settlements of lawsuits and claims against the City and County of San Francisco.
Deputy City Attorney Givner reported that during closed session the committee voted unanimously to forward items 1 through 8 to the full Board with a positive recommendation. Following that vote, a motion to not disclose the closed-session discussion was made by 'Supervisor Bridal' (as transcribed) and adopted. The committee then adjourned.
The forwarded items will appear on the June 27 Board of Supervisors agenda for possible formal action. The committee did not disclose details of the settlements during the open meeting.
