Suzanne Mason, Employee Relations Director, presented items 3–6: three amendments to recently extended MOUs (adjustments to standby premiums for the DA’s office and other identified premiums, a PUC CIP premium, and a salary adjustment for machinists to take effect 07/01/2017) and a new memorandum of understanding with the Committee of Interns and Residents covering working conditions at San Francisco General Hospital (01/07/2017–06/30/2021). Mason summarized changes and answered committee questions; no public comment was received for these items.
The committee moved items 3–6 forward with a positive recommendation to the full Board of Supervisors. Chair Kim called for a motion; members agreed to forward the MOUs without opposition during the hearing. The transcript records no roll-call vote; the committee’s action will appear on the Board agenda as a positive GAO recommendation.
