Committee forwards several settlement and claim items to full board after closed session

Deputy City Attorney Givner reported the committee’s actions on reconvening: items 3, 4, 6 and 8 were forwarded to the full Board of Supervisors with a positive recommendation by a 3‑0 vote; item 5 was continued to the committee’s next meeting; and item 7 was forwarded to the full board with a positive recommendation by a 2‑1 vote, with Supervisor London Breed recorded in dissent. The committee then approved, without objection, a motion not to disclose further deliberations from the closed session.
The clerk indicated the items in question were ordinances authorizing settlements and a resolution approving an unlitigated claim against the City and County of San Francisco. The committee adjourned at the chair’s call following the closed session report.
