The Government Audit Committee on Oct. 26 read a resolution urging the San Francisco Employees’ Retirement System to review executive compensation, evaluate salary best practices, hold a public hearing and issue a report. The committee’s clerk, Erica Major, read the item and the sponsor asked that the matter be continued to the call of the chair.
Chair Aaron Peskin moved to excuse Vice Chair Supervisor Norman Yee earlier in the meeting; the committee later noted Supervisor Yee was present and the item was unexcused. No members of the public spoke on the compensation resolution. Ms. Major said items acted upon at the committee will appear on the Nov. 1 Board of Supervisors agenda unless otherwise stated.
Because the sponsor requested more time, the committee took no further action on the resolution and continued Item 1 to the call of the chair.
