Subcommittee approves list of agencies eligible for the 2014 city employee joint fundraising drive

The San Francisco Board of Supervisors Budget and Finance Subcommittee on April 9 approved a resolution designating agencies eligible to participate in the 2014 annual joint fundraising drive for city employees. Joan Lubomirski of the City Administrator’s Office told the committee that the applicants had applied to the Board and that the office had reviewed them for compliance.
“Our office reviewed them and found them all in compliance with the administrative code requirements,” Lubomirski said. Chair Mark Farrell opened public comment and, seeing none, called for a motion; the item was moved forward with recommendation and taken without objection.
The approval was procedural and limited to confirming the applicants’ compliance and placing the item on the supervisors’ April 15 agenda for formal consideration. The committee did not debate eligibility criteria during the meeting. No member offered amendments or raised objections during the subcommittee action.
