Moran said McLaren Park has received multiple LWCF grants since 1967, and that recording a memorandum of unrecorded grant agreement will formalize preexisting property restrictions required by the grant program. Supervisor John Avalos voiced support and emphasized the recent restoration work and volunteer involvement in McLaren Park; staff agreed to share recent media coverage and information through the department's public information officer. No public comment opposed the request and the committee moved the item forward.
