Committee forwards Port security grant and a DPH state contract amendment to the full Board

Item 3, a retroactive authorization for the Department of Public Health to enter into an amended combined net negotiated amount and drug medical agreement with the State Department of Alcohol and Drug Programs (migrating to the Department of Health Care Services), covering July 1, 2010 through June 30, 2014 for approximately $69 million, was similarly moved forward following Jim Stilwell's presentation describing the programmatic context and state-level realignment changes.
Both items will appear on the Board of Supervisors agenda for formal action.
