Rules Committee forwards three workforce‑alignment nominees to Board with positive recommendations

The Rules Committee unanimously approved committee reports recommending three nominees for the newly reauthorized Committee on City Workforce Alignment and forwarded those recommendations to the full Board.

Tiffany Jackson, appearing in person, described her decade of experience in community workforce development as program manager at Hospitality House’s neighborhood job center, highlighting employer‑engagement events and an annual job fair that brought hundreds of job seekers together with employers. "In my decade of working in workforce development, I built a program that bridges the gaps between job seekers and employers," Jackson told the committee.

Bartolome (Bart) Pantoha’s written statement, read into the record, said he is a career construction worker and union leader who began as an apprentice in 1996 and has held union leadership roles; he said he would represent workers’ perspectives on the committee.
