The committee considered an amended land disposition and acquisition agreement: the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission proposed transferring a 1.37‑acre site at 639 Bryant Street in exchange for approximately 7.98 acres at 2000 Marin Street, with the exchange based on fair market value and no cash transfer.
An SFPUC deputy general manager told the committee the transaction has been in negotiation for several years and includes developer‑funded tenant improvements, moving costs and securing a tanksite for a hydrogen peroxide system used for odor control in sewers. There were no public comments on the item. The committee agreed to send the item to the full Board as a committee report with recommendation without objection. Chair Peskin later moved a small amendment requiring the SFPUC to provide the final fully executed amended agreement to the Clerk within 30 days; the committee amended item 4 accordingly and re‑sent it to the Board as amended.
Next steps: the amended agreement will be included in the Board packet for full consideration; SFPUC staff will file the final executed agreement for the official record once complete.
