The committee approved a one‑year extension for a software maintenance, license, support and development contract used by the Treasurer‑Tax Collector to manage revenue collections. David Augustine of the Treasurer’s Office described the system, called CUBS (Columbia Ultimate Business Solutions), as a case management and workflow tool that bundles different revenue types, automates outreach and supports scanning and documentation access.
Augustine said the one‑year extension would be used to continue collections work and improve efficiencies in the department; no public comment was offered and the committee approved the extension by unanimous support.
