Clerk read Item 1: an ordinance amending the planning code to require conditional-use authorization for employee cafeterias in office spaces, with existing employee cafeterias exempt from the new requirement.
Supervisor Asha Safaie said staff and stakeholders had worked extensively on the legislation and that it had been refined to a good place. There was no public comment on the item. Chair Supervisor Aaron Peskin stated, "And if there is no objection, finally send this to the full board with recommendation without objection." The committee forwarded the ordinance to the full board by unanimous consent.
The item will appear on the Sept. 3 Board of Supervisors agenda unless otherwise stated.
