The Budget & Finance Committee on Dec. 6 recommended that the Board of Supervisors approve a second amendment to the contract between the City and County of San Francisco and the U.S. Department of Energy Western Area Power Administration for delivery and scheduling of local power to Treasure Island and Yerba Buena Island.
Chair Carmen Chu said the item was continued at the committee’s previous meeting to amend the dollar amount on the legislation. Sam Llorona of the public utilities department offered no additional comments; the committee’s budget analyst recommended approval.
Public comment on the item consisted of a brief, non‑substantive remark and the committee closed public comment and moved the ordinance forward without objection. The item will now appear on the Board of Supervisors agenda for consideration.
