Nancy Hamm introduced herself as Deputy Chief Financial Officer at the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission with about 20 years of city experience and an auditing background. Jan Mazik, chief financial officer at San Francisco International Airport, described roughly 25 years of governmental finance experience.
After brief public comment (one caller strongly endorsed Nancy Hamm), the committee amended the motions to remove accidental 'reject' language from the item titles and then voted to send both nominations to the full board with positive recommendations.
The nominations will be considered by the full Board of Supervisors; the committee recorded the motions passing without objection.
