Committee endorses dedicating Brewster Street extension to public use

The Transportation Committee advanced an ordinance to dedicate the Brewster Street extension to public use and accept the public-works order for city maintenance and liability. Dorris described the legislation as formalizing public right-of-way status, establishing official sidewalk widths, public right-of-way widths and street grades, and accepting the extension for city maintenance and liability. There was no public comment on the item. A committee member moved to forward the ordinance with a recommendation to the full Board and the motion carried without objection.
