Land use committee sends planning-code tweak on self-storage to full board

Audrey Buckus of the Planning Department told the committee the Planning Commission had unanimously approved the ordinance with largely clerical modifications and that Supervisor Kim had incorporated those edits into the draft before the committee.
Deputy City Attorney John Givner confirmed the circulated document reflects the Planning Commission’s recommendations and one additional clerical revision offered at the dais (change to subsection labeling). Supervisor Kim moved the committee to adopt the amendments and forward the item with a positive recommendation to the full Board; the motion was approved without objection.
The committee did not take public comment on this item and no substantive policy changes were introduced at the Land Use hearing. The ordinance will appear on the May 8 Board of Supervisors agenda for final consideration.
