Lyon Martin clinic in financial crisis; supervisors signal conditional support as community raises funds

Clinic leaders said an earlier failure in executive management and third-party billing had left operations cash-poor despite steady clinical demand: Lyon Martin served roughly 2,400–2,500 patients in 2010, many of them uninsured or low-income, and is recognized as a national model for lesbian and transgender health care.
