Fisherman's Wharf portside BID moves forward after committee endorsement and public support

A committee member offered an "amendment of the whole" with technical edits and acknowledged Karen Bell, the executive director of the Fisherman's Wharf Community Benefit District. There was no opposition recorded at the committee meeting.
The committee forwarded Item 2 to the full Board as a committee report with recommendation. The record shows no formal roll-call vote in the committee; the item will proceed to the Board of Supervisors for the statutorily required notice, public hearing and any final action by the Board.
