The Land Use & Transportation Committee on Oct. 23 advanced a resolution to transfer jurisdiction of 2245 Gerald Avenue from the Real Estate Division to the San Francisco Fire Department. Sandy Levine of the Real Estate Division described the parcel as a long narrow strip that will serve as the side-street entrance to an ambulance deployment facility and is not suitable for independent development. The committee moved the item forward without public comment and the motion was taken without objection.
