Committee approves routine appointments: CSAC and Food Security Task Force correction
Summary

The San Francisco Rules Committee unanimously approved two routine appointment matters on Sept. 21.
Item 4: The committee moved and voted to forward a positive recommendation to appoint Supervisor Rafael Mandelman to represent the city on the California State Association of Counties (term ending Dec. 1, 2021). No public comment was received on the item and the motion passed on a voice/roll-call vote from Supervisors Catherine Stephanie, Gordon Marr and Hillary Ronan.
Item 5: The clerk noted a prior accidental appointment to the wrong seat and explained the purpose of the current hearing: to appoint a member to the vacant Seat 9 on the Food Security Task Force to correct the error. With no callers in the queue the committee voted to appoint (the committee recommended Miss Bonini to Seat 9 as read by the clerk) and passed the motion without objection.
Both decisions were procedural and will be forwarded as recommendations to the full Board of Supervisors where required for final administrative processing.
