Kristen Tiesh told the committee she serves as vice chair of the Bicycle Advisory Committee and represents District 1, and said she intends to keep working to make San Francisco streets safer for vulnerable road users as many streets are converted to safer, sustainable designs. A caller who identified themselves as a colleague thanked Tiesh for bringing equity and balance to district planning and urged support for her reappointment.
Chair Ronan and Supervisors expressed appreciation for Tiesh’s work; with no remaining public callers the committee opened and closed public comment and then approved forwarding the appointment by roll call. Supervisors Stephanie, Marr and Chair Ronan voted ‘‘aye’’ and the motion passed without objection.
The appointment will be considered by the full Board of Supervisors.
