The San Francisco Board of Supervisors Rules Committee approved three routine appointment items and forwarded them to the full Board with positive recommendations.
Item 1: The committee reappointed Supervisor Sandra Lee Feuer to the Reentry Council for a term ending June 1, 2022. There were no public callers on this item and the committee voted to move the reappointment forward.
Item 2: Lydia Eley introduced herself in support of the mayor’s nomination to the Redevelopment Successor Agency Oversight Board, describing 10 years at MOCD and prior affordable-housing experience; the committee amended the legislation to delete the word "rejecting" and forwarded the nomination with a positive recommendation.
Item 3: Anna Vandegna, appearing as the director of the Comptroller’s Office of Public Finance, described her experience managing a multibillion-dollar debt portfolio and work on public finance; the committee again amended the language to remove "rejecting" where present and recommended the appointment to the full Board without objection.
All motions passed by unanimous roll call (Supervisor Catherine Stephanie, Supervisor Gordon Marr, Chair Hillary Ronan voting aye). Each item will appear on the Board agenda unless otherwise noted.
