The subcommittee took up an ordinance to waive the Department of Public Works’ street encroachment permit processing fee under Public Works Code §2.11 for signage related to bus service operated by the Golden Gate Bridge, Highway and Transportation District.
A supervisor who identified himself as a member of the Golden Gate Bridge District said the waiver would amount to $6,882 and help the agency update bus stop signage and schedules for routes serving Marin and Napa counties. The ordinance was moved and accepted without objection at the subcommittee and will be forwarded to the full Board with a recommendation to approve.
