The premises sits in the Mission Alcohol Special Use District; Mission Station reported no letters of protest and recommended approval. ALU recommended a set of conditions agreed to by the applicant, including limiting alcohol sales to 8 a.m. to midnight, restricting alcohol display to no more than 5% of retail space, prohibiting certain small‑format distilled spirits and limiting noise beyond the licensed area.
Applicant Beth Abulafia described extensive outreach to neighbors (letters to more than 250 residents, community meetings) and noted the Planning Commission had unanimously approved the market and the license transfer. Supervisor David Campos expressed support for the applicant’s outreach and moved the item forward as a committee report; the committee advanced the item without objection.
