Rules Committee recommends appointments to DCYF oversight panel and Entertainment Commission

Applicants described experience with special education and family services, early‑childhood programs and organizing for racial equity; Julie Roberts Fung cited work with Parent Voices and early childhood access.
On the Entertainment Commission, the committee reappointed Dori Caminong (also spelled Caminong/Caminong in the record) with a positive recommendation. Caminong described prior service on the Entertainment Commission and efforts to digitize permitting, expand Good Neighbor policies and protect nightlife jobs; challenger Domingo Williams, a San Francisco Police Department sergeant, emphasized inclusion and access to entertainment for all neighborhoods.
Both items were taken without objection and will be presented to the full Board of Supervisors as committee reports.
