Staff noted a correction to the memo regarding the number of block faces and provided a fee-waiver estimate of approximately $24,994 based on 21 anticipated permits at $55.30 per block face plus surcharges. The ordinance also includes a new youth entrepreneurship pilot, 'lemonade day,' in which participants create and operate small businesses and return profits to a community-chosen venture.
The committee heard no adverse public comment, approved minor amendments to the legislation, and agreed to send the ordinance to the full Board with the committee's recommendation.
