Bruce Storrs of the Department of Public Works presented Order 184923, which proposes sidewalk-width changes tied to a new residential and semi‑commercial development at the assessor’s parcel. Storrs said City Planning determined the proposal was consistent with the general plan on June 4 and that DPW received no objections from affected city agencies or private utilities.
Chair Malia Cohen and committee members asked no substantive questions. The public‑comment period for the item produced no speakers. Supervisor Aaron Peskin moved to forward the ordinance to the full Board with the committee's recommendation; Cohen said the motion passed unanimously without objection.
The ordinance will proceed to the Board of Supervisors for further consideration; the committee record indicates documents and a SUR map were included in the meeting packet and that DPW urged the Board to move the measure forward.
