For item 5, Rosa Chen spoke about her Chinatown roots, prior Youth Commission work and experience with park issues in District 3. Supervisors praised her community background and moved to forward the nomination to the full Board with a positive recommendation; the motion passed without objection.
Both nominations were sent to the Board for final confirmation.
