Chair Malia Cohen said Supervisor Scott Wiener, the item’s sponsor, asked the committee to continue consideration. The clerk read the ordinance title as an amendment to the Health Code revising the definition of development projects subject to requirements for an alternate water-source system. Chair Cohen opened public comment on the item and received none.
Supervisor Wiener moved to continue the ordinance to the call of the chair. The motion was adopted without objection. No additional substantive debate, amendments or vote on the ordinance’s merits occurred at the meeting.
The committee did not set a new hearing date; the clerk noted items acted on that day would appear on the Board of Supervisors’ March 22 agenda unless otherwise stated. The item will return to the committee at a future meeting at the chair’s direction.
