Rules Committee forwards reappointments and appointments to full Board; applicant absent for a Commission on Aging seat

Item 3: The committee recommended appointing Supervisor Gordon Maher to the City College Financial Assistance Fund Oversight Committee for an indefinite term. No presenters or public comment were recorded.
Item 4: The committee held a hearing to consider appointing one member (term ending March 31, 2020) to the Commission on Aging. The sole applicant, recorded in the transcript as Morningstar Vansy Menzel, was not present. Later in the clerk’s clarification the transcript records the recommended appointment as Morningstar Vasso to seat 7; the transcript contains multiple variants of the applicant's name. The committee nonetheless moved the item to the full Board with a recommendation.
All three items were forwarded to the full Board. The full Board will consider these appointments at its Jan. 29 meeting.
