Item 2: Ordinance (administrative code) — The committee forwarded, without objection, an ordinance adding a notice to Rent Board Form 1107 to inform tenants facing eviction about eligibility for city affordable housing programs. Deanna Kizon presented the change and there were no public comments that opposed the measure.
Item 3: Ordinance (planning code) — Supervisor Scott Wiener’s ordinance to treat 100% affordable housing as a principal use (removing conditional use for uncontested projects) was amended and forwarded to the full Board with a positive recommendation after extensive public comment and supervisor debate.
Item 4: Resolution (Treasure Island community revitalization authority recommendations) — The author requested a continuance to Feb. 8 and the committee voted to continue the item.
Item 5: Ordinance (rooftop appurtenances and infill floor area in downtown commercial district) — The mayor’s office requested 90 days to work with planning staff; the committee continued the item to April 25.
Item 6: Resolution (National Housing Trust Fund local match) — The committee forwarded a resolution urging a local match commitment to the National Housing Trust Fund and urging the city’s congressional delegation to support expanded funding; nonprofit providers and speakers with lived experience spoke in support.
Each forwarded item will appear on the Board of Supervisors agenda on the date indicated by the clerk.
