Committee backs Ocean Avenue rezoning to boost neighborhood commercial corridor

Dan Weaver, executive director of the Ocean Avenue Community Benefits District, testified that the neighborhood and the CBD board support the change and that it responds to pedestrian flows between City College and BART.
After public comment in support and no objections from the committee, members moved the ordinance forward to the full Board with a positive recommendation.
