Entertainment and neighborhood seats: Stephen Lee was re‑nominated to the Entertainment Commission; nightlife and merchant groups supported his reappointment, and the committee forwarded his nomination with a positive recommendation. Henry Kornilowicz of the San Francisco Council of District Merchants Associations urged the committee: "I urge you to please reappoint him."
Veterans Affairs, Sunshine Task Force and OECE: The committee heard multiple candidates for Veterans Affairs Commission seats and accepted a recommended slate (including Margo Ellis, Matthew Brower and George Ishikata) to send to the Board. The Society of Professional Journalists’ nominees for the Sunshine Ordinance Task Force—Matthew Kate and Lila LaHood—were forwarded with a residency waiver for one nominee. The Office of Early Care and Education citizens advisory committee seats were also filled by motion, with supervisors emphasizing diversity and operational experience.
