At its June 11, 2018 meeting the Rules Committee advanced several personnel items to the full Board of Supervisors with positive recommendations and one reappointment presented by staff.
Item 1: Ian (from Supervisor Fuer's office) spoke on behalf of Supervisor Fuer asking the committee to reappoint Supervisor Sandra Sandra Lee Fewer to the Reentry Council, saying Fewer "would be honored to have your support." Supervisor Norman Yee moved to reappoint and the committee forwarded the reappointment to the full board with a positive recommendation.
Item 4: The committee considered the mayor's appointment of Carolyn Ransom Scott to the successor agency commission (term ending 11/03/2020). Scott described long-standing ties to Bayview Hunters Point, work with faith-based organizations, and participation in Hunters Point CAC activities. Supervisor Stephanie moved to approve the nomination and delete the rejecting language, forwarding the item with a positive recommendation; the motion passed without objection.
Item 5: The mayor's reappointment of John Grama to the oversight board of the successor agency to the redevelopment agency (term ending 01/24/2022) was presented. A planning/oversight representative explained that the oversight board was created after redevelopment agency dissolution to represent taxing entities and to approve recognized obligation payment schedules (ROPS). A supervisor moved to approve Grama's reappointment with a positive recommendation to the full board; the motion passed without objection.
All three items will be scheduled for full board consideration. No roll-call votes were recorded in the transcript; motions were approved "without objection."
