Committee tables contracting‑out resolutions after Prop J rejection

Supervisor Bevan Dufty moved to table the contracting‑out items; the motion was seconded by a colleague and taken "without objection" after Chair John Avalos noted the result of a Proposition J vote. Avalos stated on the record: "We have just rejected the Prop J's, so there will be no contracting out of services in the city and county of San Francisco." The committee therefore did not advance those resolutions at this time.
