City College oversight committee applicant withdraws; item continued to chair
Summary

Clerk Victor Young told the Rules Committee the sole applicant for Item 2, Avni Desai, withdrew her application that morning. Because the appointment remained on the public record, the committee opened and then closed public comment with no speakers. Supervisor Sandy Lee Feuer moved to continue the item to the call of the chair, and the committee ordered the continuation for a future meeting or the chair’s scheduling.
The committee noted the continuation will leave the seat vacant until a new applicant is scheduled and that the item will appear on the Board of Supervisors agenda as required by committee procedure.
