The Rules Committee on Sept. 27 learned that Brenda Yee had withdrawn her application for a vacancy on the San Francisco Health Authority, and the item was continued to the call of the chair.
Sumi Souza of the San Francisco Health Plan (addressing the committee about the Health Authority vacancy) said the hospital council and the San Francisco Community Clinic Consortium will nominate candidates in the future and the agency will follow up with the committee. "Brenda has withdrawn her application," Souza told supervisors.
Chair Asher Safai moved to continue the item to the call of the chair; the motion carried without objection. The committee did not record a roll‑call vote in the transcript. The Health Authority vacancy will be returned to the committee when a nomination arrives from the nominating bodies.
