Rules Committee appoints residents to five advisory seats

Applicant Antoneta Stedleman described two years on the committee and her SRO neighborhood experience; the committee reappointed Bradford Paul (with a residency waiver) and Antoneta Stedleman after a motion by Supervisor Tang and a second by Supervisor Cohen; the motion passed without objection.
Item 2: Ramon Smith spoke in support of senior/disabled representation for the South of Market Community Stabilization Fund Community Advisory Committee (term ending 04/27/2017). Supervisor Cohen moved, Supervisor Tang seconded the appointment; the committee approved it without objection.
Item 3: For the Eastern Neighborhoods Citizens Advisory Committee (two seats), applicants Toby Levy and John Elberling spoke about coordination among neighborhood CACs and the stabilization fund. Supervisor Tang moved to appoint both Levy and Eberling; Supervisor Cohen seconded and the motion passed without objection.
Item 4: The committee appointed three members to the Parks, Recreation and Open Space Advisory Committee (terms ending 02/01/2017 and 02/01/2018). Jordan Aquino, Heather Fuchs and Toby Levy each presented briefly. Supervisor Tang moved to appoint Aquino (seat 3), Fuchs (seat 4) and Levy (seat 17); Supervisor Cohen seconded; the committee approved all appointments without objection. The committee recessed for noon in the meeting schedule.
