The committee voted to forward the item as a committee report. The ordinance as described in the clerk’s reading would reauthorize the committee for one year and alter qualifications for membership; details will be refined in the ordinance text as it proceeds to the full Board.
The committee discussion emphasized equity in program outreach and the role of community‑based organizations in shaping program design. The Department of the Environment committed to participate on the coordinating body.
