Clerk asks Rules Committee to dissolve dormant advisory bodies; Energy Steering item continued

Angela Calvillo, the Clerk of the Board, presented a routine local‑appointments review under California Government Code (the Maddy Act/local appointment list) and asked the committee to recommend repeal for bodies that have not met as required. She explained the process for identifying subordinate bodies that have not met in four months and asked the committee to forward repeal legislation for the Area Plan Infrastructure Finance Committee and the Neighborhood Community Justice Task Force because they have not met and have received no applications or public interest.
For the Energy Efficiency Steering Committee, staff noted Supervisor Marr’s office expressed interest in keeping the committee active. Nick Pagalatos (representing Supervisor Marr) said several groups indicated willingness to help fill the steering committee and requested severing that item so it could be continued. The committee agreed to continue the Energy Efficiency Steering Committee item to the call of the Chair and forwarded the other two repeal items to the full Board.
