Supervisor Daley warns of mayoral pressure on Small Business Commission during consent vote

Daley moved the consent agenda, adding a requested waiver of a residency requirement for one applicant, and the committee took the motion without objection. Chair Campos congratulated the appointees and thanked them for their service.
No separate vote record or roll-call tally was read into the record; the committee treated the two items as routine and approved them together. Daley’s allegation about the mayoral threat was raised in committee testimony and not adjudicated during the meeting.
