The Rules Committee met in closed session to discuss pending claims and litigation involving the city under Government Code section 549.560.9(a) and San Francisco Administrative Code section 67.1(d).
Deputy City Attorney Cheryl Adams told the committee that discussion in open session would "likely and unavoidably prejudice the position of the city in the lawsuits and claims we’re going to discuss." The committee indicated it wished to move items 6, 7, 8 and 10 forward to the full board with recommendations and to continue item 9 for one week.
The committee approved a motion not to disclose the closed‑session discussions.
