A public caller criticized OEWD's outreach and urged quarterly audits or publicly posted audits for transparency; OEWD replied that the grants were retroactive at the state's request.
Public Works asked to accept a $21,193.56 gift from the Yerba Buena Community Benefit District to cover part of soil-excavation costs at Annie North Plaza; the committee moved the item with a positive recommendation. SFO requested a contract modification increasing an airport security contract to a not-to-exceed $11,700,000 and extending the term through June 30, 2022; BLA reviewed the contract and recommended approval, but Chair Feuer raised staffing and timing concerns and moved to continue the item to the next committee meeting so staff could provide additional information. The committee continued item 13.
