Board approves consent agenda, tax-roll correction and personnel/club memorandum

The board then approved an application to the Ulster County Office of Real Property Tax Services to correct the 2024 tax roll for a town-owned parcel at 17 New Road (SBL 103.1-1-30.11), stating the property is wholly tax-exempt and should not have been listed on the assessment roll. The board identified the site as the former Youngs Field and voted to cancel the taxes for that parcel.
The board approved a "memorandum grama with the MFA" as presented in the meeting; the memorandum covers Tri-M Music Honor Society, MMS chess club, a character-education advisor and a modified wrestling coach for the 2024–25 school year.
Because of board-of-election changes, the board also voted to support John Williams of Middletown as the district’s Area 9 representative to the New York State school boards’ regional body (NISBA). The board discussed attending the Ulster County School Boards Association awards on Nov. 21 and moved to cancel the Nov. 21 regular board meeting so members could attend the awards event.
All formal motions were moved and seconded on the record. Roll-call votes recorded "Yes" responses from Miss Nennini, Mister Kuha, Miss Benninger, Mister Mullin, Miss Jusinski and the presiding officer on the motions recorded in this meeting. No dissenting votes were recorded on the consent items and the listed motions.
