At its meeting the Marlboro Central School District Board approved multiple routine and recommended items under the consent agenda and related motions.

Consent agenda: The board approved contracts, agreements, personnel recommendations, minutes of Oct. 24, claims audit letter and report as presented. A motion was made and carried on roll call with affirmative responses from members present.

Contract with Northstar Education Consulting LLC: The board approved a contract with Northstar Education Consulting LLC (PO Box 1455, Jamesport, NY 11947) to provide consultant services from Nov. 7, 2024, through June 25, 2025, at a rate of $200 per hour (or $1,250 per seven-hour day). The motion was moved and seconded and passed on roll call; one member was recorded absent for that vote.

Policies: The board approved first readings of multiple policies (listed as policy 71-10, 71-11, 71-14, 71-20, 71-21, 71-30, 71-31) covering comprehensive student attendance, release time, summer school, age of entrance, diagnostic screening, residency and education of students in temporary housing. The motion carried on roll call.

Personnel appointment: The board approved the appointment of Kimberly Ranjak as accompanist for the Marlboro Central School District Chorus for the 2024–25 school year at $50 per hour. Motion moved, seconded and approved on roll call.
