The Marlboro Central School District Board opened the meeting with recognition of several Students of the Month across grade levels.

Travis Merrick introduced middle‑school Student of the Month Tamsen Morgan, saying, "Tamsen truly embodies what it means to be an outstanding member of our school community" and praising her curiosity and resilience. Team Marlborough presented Annalise Vittoria as the December Student of the Month, noting her organization and consistent effort. Elementary teachers introduced kindergarten student Mila Roberts and described her kindness and helpfulness; fourth‑grade teacher Gina Martin introduced Owen Kramer as November Student of the Month. High‑school presenters recognized Evan McGrail (October), Hope Lawson (November) and Emilia Dotto (December), highlighting academic work, extracurricular involvement and leadership.

The student representative reported on recent and upcoming events across the district: elementary, middle and high winter concerts (many are posted to the district YouTube page); holiday spirit weeks; the National Honor Society blood drive; an arena elective fair for grades 9–11; a door‑decorating contest; and an upcoming in‑district caroling tour by the high‑school chamber choir. The representative also noted that all 10 fall sports teams earned New York State Public High School Athletic Association scholar‑athlete team recognition, defined as teams where 75% of members have a GPA of 90 or above.

Board members congratulated the students and families. The recognitions preceded the board’s audit presentation and regular business for the evening.
